WHAT IS PUREMATTE

PureMatte is a high performance HPL (high pressure laminate) with an EBC (electro-beam-cured) surface. This is an additional process to go through compared to normal HPL and makes it extremely hard wearing and suitable for horizontal surfaces. PureMatte performs exceptionally well in all scratch resistance, stain and chemical resistance and anti-fingerprint testing

WHAT SUBSTRATE OPTIONS ARE THERE

PureMatte is available pressed onto medium density fibreboard (MDF), moisture resistant (MR) MDF, fire resistant (FR) MDF and Birch Plywood
CAN I BUY SHEET ONLY

Yes, PureMatte is available in a 3050x1220x0.8mm sheet form
WHAT THICKNESS OPTIONS ARE THERE

MDF substrates are available in 6, 9, 12, 16, 18, 25 and 30mm thickness. Birch Ply is available in 12, 18 and 24mm thickness.
WHAT SIZE DOES PUREMATTE COME IN

PureMatte is available in 2440x1220 and 3000x1200 sheets in the various substrate options. 2440x1220 is standard
IS THERE MATCHING EDGE TAPE AVAILABLE

Yes, all PureMatte colours come with a matching ABS unglued edge tape in 23x1mm and 44x1mm sizes
WHAT COLOURS DOES PUREMATTE COME IN

WHAT IS THE LEAD-TIME

Allow 2 weeks for manufacture
WHERE IS PUREMATTE MADE

The PureMatte HPL comes out of Germany. All pressing and processing of panel is done by Impress Panels in New Zealand.
IS PUREMATTE HELD IN STOCK

We hold stock of the HPL and various substrates. We laminate to order.
WHO DO IMPRESS PANELS SELL TO

We typically supply to fabricators such as kitchen & furniture manufacturers, joiners, benchtop producers, building merchants and fitout companies throughout NZ
WHO DON'T IMPRESS PANELS SELL TO

We do not sell direct to the public

WHAT IS THE COST

WHO CAN FABRICATE THE PANELS FOR MY PROJECT

Any joiner who has access to CNC and edge-banding machinery can cut and edge PureMatte
WHAT ARE TYPICAL USES FOR PUREMATTE

Typical uses are lobbys, lift linings, desking, wall linings, joinery, kitchens, benchtops, furniture etc
CAN PUREMATTE BE USED IN WET AREAS

Yes, provided the substrate and glue used during the lamination process is rated for use in wet areas
CAN PUREMATTE BE USED OUTSIDE

PureMatte can be used in covered-in outdoor entertaining areas. Ensure substrate and glue used during the lamination process is rated for use in exterior applications
